Here’s one you can do that is scientifically proven to increase anaerobic and aerobic capacities, plus burn fat:Perform 20 sec of these “bench hop overs” followed by 10 sec of rest. Repeat this 8 times. This will take a TOTAL of 4 minutes.

A Tabata is high-intensity interval training that consists of 8 sets of fast-paced exercises each performed for 20 seconds, interspersed with a rest of 10 seconds.

Getting a stronger core isn’t rocket science, but it is nutrition science. 🤓
.
Use these tips if you’re aiming for a stronger stomach in 2021:
.
1. Protein - Eat lean, high quality protein sources. Stay away from fatty ones by exchanging eggs for egg whites, dark chicken meat for light chicken meat, and salmon for shrimp, for example.
.
2. Planks - Yes, sit-ups are great, but so are total body exercises like planks that also work ALL of your accessory muscles — for example, your rhomboids, lats, traps, gluts, etc.
.
3. Compound Lifts - Compound lifts (like the deadlift, squat, bench and overhead press) work INSANELY well for building core strength, because they are required to stabilize the lift. Make sure you’ve got these mixed into your routine.
.
4. Reciprocal (Back) Muscles - All too often folks get focused on their abs and forget that ALL muscles have opposing muscles that are required to counterbalance them. My favorite quick and dirty exercise for a stronger back?
.
The “Superman/Superwoman” — just lie on your stomach with your arms and legs extended, then contract everything from your shoulder blades to your gluts until your arms and legs raise off the ground. If you look and feel like Superman, then you’re doing it right.
.
5. Reduce Stress - Most people aren’t aware of this one, but high stress can cause you to store belly fat. It’s an evolutionary mechanism in which your body stores fat in an effort to protect you from the perceived “threats” that are bothering you.
.
Repeated studies confirm that stress causes elevated production of the hormone cortisol, which cues abdominal fat distribution EVEN in lean individuals.
.
