Cade Hildreth is a digital entrepreneur and real estate investor. How did Cade get into these non-traditional careers? One of the key driver’s was Cade’s career as a professional rugby player.
Cade Hildreth’s Rugby Bio
Cade “CJ” Hildreth has extensive National and International rugby experience, having represented the USA Rugby 7s, USA Rugby 15s and the USA Touch Rugby Teams. For many years, Cade reported to and trained at the Olympic Training Center (OTC) in Chula Vista, CA, representing the USA 7s Rugby Team at HSBC World Rugby Series events in Hong Kong, Las Vegas, and Canada, among other global destinations.
Cade also represented the USA Touch Rugby Team at the 2015 FIT World Cup in Coffs Harbour, Australia.
As an internationally sponsored athlete, Cade spent two years based in Christchurch, New Zealand, competing in rugby tournaments across Oceania, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Cade represented several elite squads (“Superclubs”) from across New Zealand and Australia and was a professionally sponsored athlete with KUSA, an International Superclub who mission is to “bring together the best international players in the world.”
Cade was also a member of an Australian Invitational Team sponsored by the Samuri brand, which traveled under the tour name of the “Bush Turkeys.”
While residing in New Zealand, Cade won a Grand Final Championship with Sydenham Rugby Club in Christchurch, NZ, participated in the club’s domination of the Canterbury 7s Series, and survived the deadly Christchurch Earthquake that struck the Canterbury Region of the South Island with 6.2 magnitudes of force, taking the lives of 185 people.
Cade competed in international tournaments that included Australia’s Gold Coast International 7s, Bryon Bay 7s, and Darwin Hottest 7s; Asia’s Hong Kong IRB 7s, Bali’s International 7s, and Europe’s Rome International 7s. Cade was also the Captain of the winning team for the Kiama Rugby 7s (Australia), where the prize money was awarded by helicopter.
Cade was selected as the International Athlete of the Year based on extensive international experience and being the only player worldwide to represent alongside national-side players for all three of the world’s dominant rugby nations – NZ, Australia and the USA.
As a long-standing member of the USA National Side, Cade credits Club Team NOVA and Coach Brian Walker for player development.
