I love the Rule of 72, because it lets you do quick math in your head to determine how quickly an investment can compound (i.e., double or triple in value) over time.

What is the Rule of 72? Simply put, the Rule of 72 is a quick way to estimate the number of years required to double the value of an investment at an annual rate of return.

Gender Neutral Pronouns: The Rise of They/Them/Their

Gender-neutral pronouns are those that don’t assume a male/female binary. After the recent change by the Merriam-Webster dictionary to add ‘they’ as a way to refer to nonbinary people who do not identify as male nor female, the most common gender neutral pronouns are ‘they, them, their, theirs, themself.’

In contrast, gendered pronouns would be:

  • she, her, hers, herself
  • he, him, his, himself
